CAPE SOCIOLOGY Lecturer – POST CODE SCC-23410 (CLEAR VACANCY):

The successful applicant must possess:

  • A Masters’ Degree from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject area
  • Teacher Training Certification
  • Five (5) years’ teaching experience in a government institution or an institution recognized by the Government of Jamaica.

Guidance Counsellor -Westmoreland Campus – December 2023 – April 2024

The successful candidate must possess:

  • A Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology/Psychology/Guidance and Counselling or in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years’ experience as a practitioner in the field
  • In-depth knowledge of counselling assessment tools

Clerical Assistant – EIGS/AS1 – Contract

The successful applicant should possess:

  • Five (5) CSEC inclusive of English Language & Mathematics
  • Certifications in Office Administration would be an asset
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity

Main Duties

  • Monitoring the telephone for the Facilities Management Department
  • Making appointments on behalf of the Senior Facilities Management Managers
  • Compiling periodic reports as necessary
  • Recording and preparing minutes for the Facilities Department
  • Assisting with Budget Preparation
  • Receiving and processing requests from all departments
  • Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all facilities related activities
  • Managing the non-routine activity sheet for transportation requirements
  • Distributing stocks to the ancillary team
  • Preparing requisitions
  • Monitoring the Facilities Management email in a timely manner and disseminating information to the relevant individuals
  • Sending out all maintenance advisories

Groundsman – EIGS/GS1 – Contract

Evidence of formal education

  • School Leaving certification
  • Two (2) years’ experience in as similar post
  • Have knowledge of landscaping and demonstrate a passion for environmental protection
  • Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and insecticides including measurements etc.
  • Must be safety conscious
  • Be self-motivated, flexible, reliable and an excellent team player
  • Display good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to operate lawn and hedge cutting equipment/machinery

 

Cleaner – EIGS/GS1 – Contract
