Project Manager – SOG/ST 7 (2 years contract)
The successful applicant should possess:
- Sc. in Architecture & Construction Technology or its equivalent
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity
- At least one (1) year Supervisory experience
- General Driver’s Licence
Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with the trade
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

Maintenance Officer EIGS/AS3
The successful applicant should possess:
- Level 3 NCTVET Certification in General Construction or equivalent qualification
- At least (3) CXC’s or GCE’s
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of the Government of Jamaica Building Codes
- Knowledge of all aspects of Construction Management with an emphasis on electrical and plumbing skills
- Basic understanding of the government’s procurement guidelines
- Computer Literacy in Microsoft Suites
- Good Customer Service, Supervisory and Time Management Skills
- Be able to work long hours, public holidays and weekends when required
- Works on own initiative as well as working with a team
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Perform general maintenance to the Plant daily
- Assist the Plant Manager to oversee construction projects
- Provide specifications and drawings for minor jobs
- Schedule periodic maintenance of fixed assets
Assist with the overall supervision of the Plant and the Ancillary team
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Architectural & Construction Technology
(Contract)
The successful applicant should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural & Construction Technology
- Teacher Training Certification
- Preference of a Masters Degree in the related subject area
- Preference of at least five (5) years’ teaching experience in a Government institution or an institution recognized by the Government of Jamaica/Industry experience
Competent to lecture the following courses:
- Construction Technology (Construction Tech. 1 and Advanced Construction Tech.)
- Building Services
- Introduction to AutoCad
Key Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a genuine interest in helping students, and the ability
to work effectively as a member of a team
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching using a blended approach
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Part-Time Lecturers: –
- Foundation Concepts in Mathematics
- Police and Community
